Thank you so much to all of the volunteers that made Vacation Bible School possible this year! We were blessed with 4 wonderful counselors from Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp and had a fantastic week! Thank you, God! PRESS ON!!!

Looking forward to seeing you all at Vacation Bible School tomorrow at the Fontanelle United Methodist Church! Those that are 3-entering Kindergarten meet from 9-noon and those entering 1st-6th grade meet from 9-2. Remember to bring a sack lunch. Can't wait to see you there!!! :)

Tomorrow we will be thanking all of our G.R.O.W. volunteers during worship. If you were a volunteer, we hope to see you there! If you are a G.R.O.W. kiddo, we'd love to have you there to help thank the volunteers. Join us for either the 8:30 AM or 10:30 AM service. We'll see you there! :)

We're still planning to have the Fun Run at the Greenfield Lake. It looks like it's just going to be cloudy and cool, so bring a jacket. Looking forward to seeing you all there! :) Bring your running shoes!

We will be celebrating the end of another fabulous year at G.R.O.W. by having a Fun Run, Potluck, and Pie in the Face (Pastor & Kristy’s faces) at the Greenfield Lake. The event is open to everyone in the G.R.O.W. program (kids, families, volunteers) as well as the entire Emmanuel Lutheran congregation and any friends you invite to come along. The celebration will last during the normal G.R.O.W. hours, from 6-7:30 PM. Meat, drinks and tableware will be provided. Bring a dish to share. (If it rains, we’ll have the celebration at the church.) We can’t wait to see you there!

We are looking forward to seeing you all at G.R.O.W. Wednesday night. Reminder, we're taking our annual G.R.O.W. picture, so come in your G.R.O.W. shirt. We're hoping to take the photo outside. If it's raining, we may have to do it all again next week. Also, we're back to our normal dismissal time of 7:30 since there is not worship on Wednesday night. Looking forward to seeing you all there! :)

Looking forward to seeing you all at G.R.O.W. tomorrow night. We've got lots of big events coming up - singing at worship on Easter, 1st Communion on Palm Sunday, the Fun Run on May 1st, and Vacation Bible School will be held July 8-11. Reminder that tomorrow is "Bring-a-friend" night at G.R.O.W.! Since it's Lent, we will be dismissing at 7:15 PM so our kids, families, and volunteers can attend our 7:30 PM worship service. We'll see you soon! :)

Reminder that starting tomorrow night, GROW will be dismissing 15 minutes early (at 7:15) for Lenten services. Ash Wednesday service starts tomorrow night at 7:30 and everyone including kids are welcome.

Join us tomorrow night for our annual February-Fest Family Fun Night! The whole family is invited to share in food, festivities, and fun! See you from 6-7:30 PM! :)

There is NO G.R.O.W. tonight due to the weather and school being out. We do have a few important announcements: The annual February-Fest Family Fun night will be next Wednesday, Feb. 27th during our normal G.R.O.W. time. Come and enjoy food, games, and fun for the whole family!!! Also, the first week in March is Ash Wednesday which begins Lent, so starting March 6th, G.R.O.W. will dismiss for the Lenten season at 7:15 PM so that families can gather for worship at 7:30 PM. Lastly, 1st Communion classes will begin for those in 5th grade on up on Sunday, March 3rd between services at 9:30 AM. Classes will meet each Sunday (except March 10th) until their first communion on Palm Sunday. Thanks! Enjoy the snow! :)

There is NO G.R.O.W. tonight due to weather. Please stay home and stay safe! I'm sorry the Facebook announcement has come late - I can't access Facebook at school and just got home from O-M. It was announced at both the Elementary and Middle Schools. Tonight's lesson was about Jesus Calming the Storm from Matthew 8:23-27. Read it together. We'll plan to see you all next week! :)

Wow! I have been missing seeing my G.R.O.W. kiddos! I hear tomorrow night may be bad weather. Stay tuned to the G.R.O.W. facebook page for any possible cancellations. For now, we'll plan to see your bright shining faces! :) Here's a hint for what our lesson is about (and it's not the Titantic) ;)

There is NO G.R.O.W. tomorrow night due to the cold. Spend time snuggled up together as a family. Tomorrow night's lesson is from Matthew 7:24-28 about building your house on the rock. Read it together and share your faith with one another. Stay warm! :)
